Featured ProductCustom Automated Assembly Machine: At Walker, automation is successfully used to reduce your assembly cost. We have designed and built several multi-headed welders and fastener insertion machines to ensure high quality, reliable assemblies. The pictured automotive assembly requires several pieces of hardware. Working with our customer, we were able to design and build a machine that assembles the several pieces of hardware in a single operation. This represents a significant savings over several slower insertion operations. The equipment notably assembles the hardware, but utilizing sensor technology provides Poke Yoke: fail-safe technology to ensure that each product meets our customer’s requirements.
